Every week the Rap Attack crew will grade all things hip hop but, this isn’t your TYPICAL report card. We have our own way of doing things. So check out our grading policy:
D – The Highest Grade….D for “DOPE“
C – An OK Grade….C for “Chills“
B – Uhhhh…. B for “Boooooo“
A – TRY AGAIN…A for AWWWW HELLLL NO!!!

This Week:
HIP HOP: So Halloween came and went and this year we have to give it up (or not) to Ellen who went as Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus for going as Lil Kim. To great Hip Hop artists. It was almost like “Girls Gone Wild” with all the boob shots.
WHAT WE THINK: Were these costumes spoofs or actually paying homage to the artists? Not sure but either way neither Ellen or Miley had to the “real” bodies to pull the costumes off right lol..
GRADE: C (Chills)
HIP HOP: Drake, Future and Miguel stopped in our area for the “Would You Like A Tour?” tour and guess who dressed up as Kanye West…Drizzy Drake. Check out his full costume HERE
WHAT WE THINK: Creative.
GRADE: C (Chills)
HIP HOP: Nicki Minaj had some words for Kendrick Lamar’s Control Verse….mad late. She basically called herself the “Queen and King” of NYC. Check out what she REALLY said HERE
WHAT WE THINK: Besides being a day late and a dollar short we think she has a point when she references BUT is that really the gage talent.
GRADE: C (Chills)
HIP HOP: Well Kendrick doesn’t appear to be worried with what Nicki Minaj is talking as he brought the Queen Bee Lil Kim on stage at his star studded Brooklyn show at the Barclays. Check it out HERE
WHAT WE THINK: It shows that he probably really is the king of NYC..lol j/k. He’s definitely paying dues and showing love so yeah…Get It Kendrick.
