Coronavirus relief stimulus funds are on the way to many citizens. The IRS is making it easier for you to get your money.
After opening the new site Friday (April 10), the process is made simple. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin describes the site as “a tool for Americans who are not required to file tax returns to make sure they receive their payment as quickly and safely as possible.”
Essentially, if you’ve filed federal taxes and have given the IRS your account information then you’re good. But, if you’ve never used direct deposit for your refund then you may need to visit the site.
