Before his show at Cancun Cantina, the “Leave Me Alone” artist stopped by the studio to talk to the Q Crew about his rising career. His single made it to Billboard Top 100 and has been picking up pace worldwide since its 2018 release.
When asked about the single, Dinero assured us that it was much more than chanting the catchy and unforgettable chorus. “Nah, it’s really an anthem. Like, you know, we did it,” Dinero shared. We went on to talk about how he processes music and organizes his daily life events into lyrics. Listening to his flow on “Leave Me Alone”, anyone can tell the lyrics came from a true life situation. When asked about the person on the other side of the story, he told us there was someone who prompted him to write the song. Without going into too much detail Dinero said, “Forget her but, shout out to her too.”
The Epic/Cinematic/We the Best rapper also talked briefly about working under industry legend DJ Khaled and how he motivates him to keep going. “It’s amazing man, it’s amazing. He just pushes me to go harder and harder,” Dinero shared.
