Dre’s #breakfastbite.. City Leaders pull out a new 30-yr plan for serious upgrades at the Inner Harbor. What’s your thoughts? Click to read more! #92qjams #BALTIMORE #MARYLAND #BMORE #thursday
Marcel™@king_phoenix410 @DreJohnson1 I think it’s stupid, but what can expect from Baltimore? It should be placed in the school system.
Dynamic511@dynamic511 @DreJohnson1 first they need to get rid of the homeless people. Maybe the plans can include a shelter for them.
Toiya Best@ThickDiva428@DreJohnson1 how about they upgrade the city schools and keep those 7 schools open that they plan to close! SRB is the worst, Where’s Sheila
Free Jackson@MsFreeza @DreJohnson1 on another note. revenue needs to come from somewhere. The harbor is one of many tourist spots on the east, bringing in money
Deidre Bryan F*** the inner harbor , fix the inner city!!!
Cristal OnAir Good it’s much needed
Jermaine Townes How bout redoing that Arena so a basketball team can come here..that will bring cash 2tha city
Ki Ki Brown Why should most of us comment when we don’t even frequent the Harbor? It’s a beautiful place! Change is good!
daveth3king Honestly Dre, the rest of the city needs upgrades… not the Inner Harbor.
kdh_26 They need to upgrade the schools. I swear this city ain’t s***!! Gm bmore lol
thatchicbillie Shuttin down school BUT planning to build pools..smdh.. So lame @drejohnson1
taurus079 I think its ridiculous because there’s other things that need repairs. Like our city streets. I wouldn’t swim there at all
ms_tia12 Start with that 1st mariner arena, j/s it’s terrible @drejohnson1
killakabonline GM– What about the city neighborhoods? .. The Harbor and downtown generates enough money — elected officials are suppose to help the public (not grease hands and pockets)
brace_yourself327 The city’s government needs to get their priorities in check!
1dimplez3tats_iam GM @drejohnson1 ….. that’s wonderful that they want to improve on the harbor, however the money is much more needed in other places? i.e. The Water Main Breaks we’ll have this #Winter. .fix the #Pipes
tattedup_chargerboy@drejohnson1 gm homie as long as they stick with it i agree homie
1dogman The City Leaders know what to do to make their pockets fat, which is why I put Baltimore behind me and moved my family south, peace TaxLand!
naturally_katrina Vacant houses, ancient pipes, aging infrastructure, underfunded schools, deteriorating neighborhoods, no afterschool programs, crime at an all time high…BUT lets fund a part of the city that already generates millions??
shonta_bird@drejohnson1 . Schools & Recreation centers to keep our kids off the corners. Thanx for brining that mix to park heights
1misscnn We did that back home maybe 15 yrz ago.. ( Nova Scotia) But it was really to clean harbor water, & upgrade boardwalk! I think it’s a great idea, unless it will be coming out of our pockets & we end up seeing no change ?! & @ same time @daveth3king is absolutely right. I’ve lived here 10 yrz/1.5 and alot of the city homes need work first!
beeezodagreat There are a lot of other things this city needs than an upgraded Harbor!!!
drmeemz2b They need to work from the outside in. Other than draining the closed off areas of that nasty murky water and replenishing it, I say the city needs to let the harbor alone and work on the other areas that look like a haunted houses and land
honiiluv88 Can they worry about raising minimum wage first?! Damn!
tattedup_chargerboy@drejohnson1 man the city gone do whatever they want at the end of the day.. and nobody can be blamed except us we as ppl need to vote not for just the president but other city and state positions because if you dont know who you voting for things like this will continue to happen… Next election the people of baltimore need to research on who’s running and what they are running for and vote for our best option!!!
jaysamazing82 They pulled a new 30 year plan down the harbor and can’t give a 5 minute thought about these inner city communities that’s crumbling by the day! Smh priorities all messed up
joylove2see The money should be going towards these schools that they will be closing..
