It looks like things are getting more intense with the charges for the officers involved in the killing of George Floyd after new charges have been added! Derek Chauvin the ex officer who was seen with his knee on George’s neck is now facing an upgraded charges of 2nd degree murder. Derek was initially charged with 3rd degree murder which hold a max sentence of 25 years now with 2nd degree the ex cop could receive a max of 40 years!

According to court records, Toa Thoa, Thomas Lane and J Alexander Kueng all face aiding and abetting second-degree murder, as well as aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.
