After just announcing her run to remain at Baltimore City State’s Attorney, Marilyn Mosby along with other law officials announced a MAJOR drug bust that was operating out of Cherry Hill. Yesterday, they held a news conference announcing the indictment of senior members of a drug trafficking group.

Fox Baltimore reports, “In 2016, the law enforcement agencies initiated a joint year-long investigation into the distribution of heroin and fentanyl throughout Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County.”

Joseph Milligan, Marquise McElveen, Randie Howard, Travis Anderson, and Kereem Thompson were all indicted.

According to Major Investigations Unit (MIU) Chief Collins, this group was responsible for majority of the heroin and fentanyl overdoses in Baltimore City and near the county line.
