Once again it’s on. Baltimore City State’s Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, has officially filed for re-election. In 2015, Mosby became the youngest top Prosecutor in the country.
With her filing for re-election, Mosby tells, “The crime that has taken place has been disheartening-I think it’s completely unacceptable. We have more work to do. I’m looking to ensure we’re building that bridge among law enforcement, the criminal justice system and the communities it serves.”
While in office, Mosby has introduced youth programs and help increase funding for victims and witnesses.
Mosby is running against former Deputy Attorney General Thiru Vignarajah and Defense Attorney Ivan Bates. There are no republican challengers.
