This week I hit to DTLR on Sinclair Lane to find the kick of the week. While scanning the wall full of dope kicks, a new design of the Nike Bakin Posites caught my eye. I choose them for the kick of the week because I like the style & design on the shoe. Not to mention, I’m a fan of the original Bakin Posites!
Nike is re-releasing the Air Bakin’ Posite shoe just in time for winter.

The high-top Nike Air Bakin’ Posite men’s shoe features a seam-free upper with a zippered shroud for a modern look and a comfortable fit. This hybrid combines boot-like durability and traction with the lightweight cushioning of a full-length Max Air unit.
Nike.com reports: Nike broke all the rules of traditional shoe creation when it built the first Nike Air Foamposite, an innovative design with an upper and sole made of the same synthetic material and absolutely no stitching-a feat that some deemed impossible. Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway immediately adopted the shoe when he caught a glimpse of it while working with Nike designers. After Penny’s endorsement, it wasn’t long before college players jumped on the bandwagon. The Nike Air Foamposite became the most unique shoe on the hardwood in 1997.
