The Associated Press is reporting that a law enforcement official has proof that the NFL received the infamous elevator footage of Ray Rice knocking his fiance out on April 9, 2014. The official also stated that they have a 12 second voice mail message from an NFL office number, confirming that the video arrived. It’s unclear who exactly from the league office received it, or watched it but an un-named female at the office saw it and is on the alleged voice mail message saying “You’re right, it’s terrible.”

Liar, liar, pants on fire to the NFL!
IF this is true, I wouldn’t be surprised if Roger Goodell or a some sad scapegoat at the league office gets fired. If the NFL had the video showing Ray Rice knocking Janay Palmer out, but didn’t give him any real punishment until this week, it’s obviously a media show.
The message I’m getting from the NFL is,
“it’s not that bad to beat your wife or fiance down, just don’t get caught on video.”
