sweethunni84 Hell no!!! just because the father may not be around doesnt mean you need credit playing the male role. In most families there are uncles and grandads that are father figures. Mothers have mothers day and thats it. If the dad is not around just dont celebrate the holiday period.

That’s like saying my mother should also be celebrated on MY birthday because she gave birth to me. Or that’s like saying since my dad passed away 2 yrs ago, I now have to celebrate Father’s Day with my mother too and give her gifts and tell her Happy Father’s Day
