My trip to Las Vegas was the AH-HA moment that I needed to get back on my game! My girlfriends and I went to a restaurant that had a mechanical bull. When I asked if I could get on, the operator asked me about my weight. I wasn’t too embarrassed when I told him I was over 200 lbs. until he smiled and said “Oh! We have a weight requirement. No one can get on the bull over 200 lbs.” I couldn’t even take a picture! Damn!
Although my feelings were hurt, I couldn’t get upset with the operator! It’s my fault for allowing myself to get this big! I have to do something. But this time, I’m not doing a trainer, I’m not going all out on an expensive diet and I refuse to talk about it to anyone who would listen.
I need to be like Nike and JUST DO IT! That’s it! My goal? To ride a mechanical bull! That not only means that I have to lose weight, but I have to work on my endurance and my strength. It doesn’t matter how long it takes but I have to do this for myself! I may even go back to Vegas to get on that bull! It’s to prove it to MYSELF!

Some tips to help lose weight the REALISTIC way:
- Write down your weight loss goals. (one that is REALISTIC. Start small then go higher the closer you get)
- Work out. Exercising burns calories. (try 2 to 3 times a day)
- Keep a food diary. Write down the foods you consume every day. (if this helps)
- Join a weight-loss support group. (or work out with someone who is in the same position and just as eager to losing weight as you are)
