Baltimore Raven Torrey Smith hosted his 1st Annual “Teaming Up With Torrey” Holiday Toy Drive. The event was held at Tuesday at Dogwood Elementary in Baltimore.
The toy drive is an effort to give toys to families in need. The toys were given to families at the Sarah’s Hope at Hannah More homeless shelter. Participants were given a chance to win tickets to this Sundays Ravens game against the New York Giants.
Torrey gave pre-signed holiday cards for anyone who showed up and donated a toy. If you were lucky enough to be one of the first fifty people there, chances were you got your picture taken with Torrey.
Torrey was so committed to giving that there was even a registry at Toy ‘R’ Us. We commend Torrey and his humanitarian efforts!
