Accuser Cecil Singleton and Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash
It’s a very sad day for Sesame Street because Elmo is leaving the neighborhood! Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo was initially accused of child sexual abuse by 24 year-old Sheldon Stephens. However, when Stephens criminal past was discovered, he retracted his statement and took a settlement. Now, he is changing his story again and says he was telling the truth about having underage sex with Clash.
Now, a second accuser has stepped forward and says he began his sexual relationship with Clash when he was fifteen. Now in his 30’s, Cecil Singleton says he met Clash on a gay chat line and was wooed by Clash’s expensive dinners and monetary gifts. Cecil insists that Clash trolls the chat lines for underage boys.
So let’s meet the accusers:
ACCUSER #1
Sheldon Stephens is a 24 year-old unemployed aspiring model who lives with his mother in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Prior to this case, Stephens was arrested and jailed for robbing a former employer at knifepoint and stealing thousands of dollars worth of diamonds and jewels.
ACCUSER #2
Cecil Singleton is a thirty-something, self-certified Internet star. He says Clash was taken by how beautiful he was and ave him one of the most passionate kisses he had every experienced. Singleton claims that even though they did not have actual intercourse, they enjoyed heavy make-out and masturbation sessions. His personal and criminal background is still being investigated.
