Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill and MGK‘s MMG Tour rolled through Baltimore Saturday night. This show was undeniably the hottest concert of the year. MGK opened up and his set was turned up! He thanked Baltimore for showing the most love and being “the best show I’ve ever done.”
Wale followed and showed love to the entire DMV. He performed a variety of his new music from his Ambition album. But, he took it back and performed a few tracks from the beginning of his career. Wale had all the ladies feeling sexy as he performed “Pretty Girls” and single-handedly flirted with everyone female in the audience.
Meek Mill had the crowd in a frenzy with his explosive introduction. Meek Mill is one of the youngest artists on MMG and the possibly the cutest. Meek Mill had an amazing set at the MMG show. Next to Rick Ross, it was one of the livest! He lit up the stage with smiles, laughter, and high energy. Meek Mill expressed his love and appreciation for Baltimore, calling it his second home.
Finally, Mr. Boss himself, Rick Ross came out and set the city on fire. Naturally, he came out in a full length fur of course. The audience went crazy when Rick hit the stage. Performing “Hold Me Back” as his first song, The Boss, had everyone in the 1st Mariner Arena turned up.There wasn’t a clear aisle nor a dry section in the building. Rick is such a character on stage, from posing for photos mid rap, addressing haters in the crowed, to showing fans his signature belly in the flesh.
The artists joined each other one last time to perform songs that they are featured on together to close out the show.Wherever you were this weekend if you missed MMG coming to Baltimore, you missed one of the best shows this city has ever seen!
