ASAP Rocky stopped through the 92Q Jams studio to chop it up with Off The Hook radio right before the taping of the BET Awards 2012. While we know he admitted he felt he did not deserve the “Best New Artist” award just yet, Rocky explains to Porkchop why his movement (A.S.V.P) and music is making news in the streets.

A remarkably humble Rocky entered the studio dressed in a high fashion, pretty ninja attire. In the two-hour long interview, A.S.A.P Rocky shows his wiser side, discussing what A.S.A.P really means, issues with Baltimore music, and his unique Bike-riding lifestyle.

“A.S.A.P. stands for ‘Always Strive And Prosper‘ I that was just a positive motto for us to live by, it’s all about striving cause we come from poverty and all that, and its all about making it out of there…” a reflective Rocky says.

Rocky also makes it known numerous times throughout his interview, he is going to remain true to who he is. While the fame is something he and his mob cannot hide from, he reminds us that he’s just a regular guy, doing regular things like riding a bicycle, similar to his “Wassup” video, Rocky wakes up in the end.

“Yo, I just brought a new bicycle. I be riding my bike in Harlem.”
