Gabrielle “flying squirrel”Douglas taken the Olympic trials by storm. The bubbly 16 year old is the top contender for Olympics 2012. She now joins the ranks of other African American Olympic gymnasts, including Dominique Dawes and Betty Okins, who won, along with their United States Olympic Team bronze medal in 1992. Douglas who is excited that she won over her biggest rival in the Olympic trials competition on Sunday, Jordyn Weiber, is now hungrier than ever to win the Gold at Olympics 2012 in London.
