Rapper, Ja Rule celebrates his 36th birthday today!
The Hollis, Queens born rapper began his career in the group Cash Money Click and debuted Venni Vetti Vecci in 1999 with its hit single “Holla Holla.” From 2000 to 2004, Ja Rule released several top 20 singles including “Between Me & You” with Christina Milian, “I’m Real (Muder Remix)” with Jennifer Lopez, and “Always On Time” with Ashanti.
Rule was signed with The Inc Records, formally known as Murder Inc Records during the 2000s. And has sold over 30 million records worldwide. He was crowned the fastest selling rapper in 2001. Ja Rule has released 6 studio albums. Some of them including, Rule 3:36, Pain Is Love, The Last Temptation, and R.U.L.E.
He is known for his ongoing feuds with rapper 50 Cent.
The rapper is currently looking forward to acquiring a degree in business and releasing the sequel to his 2001 triple platinum album Pain Is Love. Pain is love 2 is in stores now.
