Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs celebrates his 42nd birthday today. The Harlem native is best known for his leadership with legendary acts such as Notorious B.I.G, Jodeci, Mary J. Blidge and the big names he has groomed after that.
Diddy got his start as in intern at Uptown Records while attending Howard University, where he was best known for a party promoter. He juggled classes in D.C. and hustling to gain recognition at his internship so much that he eventually dropped school and chased his dream full throttle. Diddy then became the talent director at Uptown.
In 1993 Diddy was fired from Uptown and launched Bad Boy Records with his headliner act Notorious B.I.G. and Craig Mack. He then signed other artist to his brand including Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, Father MC, 112, Total, The L.O.X. and produced for major artist such as Usher, Lil Kim, TLC, Mariah Carey and many more. Since then Diddy has won three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.
Today Diddy is best known for his leadership and associaton with his original trio, Diddy Dirty Money. Which includes Dawn Richard and singer Kalenna.
While Diddy is know for his great strides in the music industry he is also known for throwing some of the sexiest most extravagant parties in the hottest cities such as Las Vegas, Miami, Washington D.C., L.A. and more!
