The NBA wants to finish its 2019-20 season despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Ideally, the league would organize its staff (players, coaches, etc.) into a “bubble” city. With one centralized location, the league is able to lower the risks of contamination by limiting personnel mobility.

Per CNN, the NBA and Disney are in talks to return to competition.  Games would be played at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex right outside of Orlando, Florida. Players and other staff will live, practice, and play at the facility, per NBA spokesman Mike Bass.

“Our priority continues to be the health and safety of all involved, and we are working with public health experts and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place,” Bass said in a statement.

Nothing is set in stone just yet but I wouldn’t be surprised if a deal were struck soon. Hit me on Instagram at @BriansWorldLive and let me know if you’re ready for the NBA to return to action this summer.
