Believe it or not, it’s been 18 years since we lost our Baby Girl, Aaliyah. The R&B/Pop Diva was on the path to having quite the professional career and an even deeper influence on our culture. Although she is no longer with us, her shine is still all around us.
I know personally, I still hold on to some of her words that she shared while she was on this earth. As we pay tribute to her and her being, here’s one of my favorite interviews from Aaliyah. She was very intimate, open, and inspiring in this 2001 interview.
