Shortly after H&M got blasted for using an African American male for “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” ad, many supporters of the clothing store was outraged. R&B singer, The Weeknd, immediately pulled his clothing deal from the store. Shortly thereafter, G-Eazy announced that the clothing line that he was working on with the store, he would not be moving forward with it. Since first addressing his decision to cancel his line on social media, the “No Limit” rapper is speaking out.

During a recent interview, G hinted that it was important for him to remove his name with the store, because it could have affected his career in a huge way. Pulling out from the deal, also cost him millions.

“I don’t want to get too focused on the money. At the end of the day, money can’t buy everything. Period. What am I supposed to do? Just have that money and be a terrible human being who is promoting a company that’s doing something like that? I don’t care.”

The host pressed G-Eazy on if the deal was in the millions, the rapper replied, “A lot, a lot, a lot.”
