Fox ended American Idol last year after a 15-season run and now NBC could bring it back next year.
According to reports, NBC is playing with idea of cutting “TheVoice” from two cycles a year to one and replace it with American Idol.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At its peak “American Idol” was the highest-rated show on television. Ratings started to decline in the show’s later years, to the point that Fox decided that it was no longer worth the money or scheduling commitment.
Sources say no deal is yet in place but talks are ongoing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
