jboss3886 Unfortunately, Councils approval of this proposal does little until there’s appropriate allocation of the funds. Might it be more effective to use them to build a rec center or community center in the targeted neighborhoods as opposed to a detention center for youth who break curfew?
jboss3886 @jordy_rosstein a lot of the funding came from the gambling industry which still hasn’t been around in MD long enough to determine its impact on crime.
bishopmeb2 When you cut jobs, eliminate career training and life skills services, increase taxes, cut recreational programs, close and crowd schools, teach our youth to past test as opposed to learning, kill music and the arts and focused more on locking people up you create a Criminal State. To reverse the curse tend to the heart not increase a militaristic hand. More mental health and community services with partnerships with the Faith based community is needed. FAITH AND HOPE CHANGES HOPELESS PEOPLE TO A CARING AND SHARING COMMUNITY!
