Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover , writer for SNL ‘s Tina Fey, sat down with AJ and talked about his new project “Because Of The Internet.” During the interview Childish Gambino gave his opinion on Keenan Thompson‘s recent comment on Black women and the lack of diversity on Saturday Night Live and his refusal to play female characters. Gambino also explains how none of the roles that he tried out for were meant for Black actors and what it took to make those particular roles his own.
In the midst of Thompson’s comments, they even went on to spoof themselves with a skit featuring Kerry Washington. The Scandal star was featured on SNL last weekend and shortly after SNL issued a statement admitting it needs a black female cast member. Click on the link below to see the interview.
