Sept. 13 marks the 17th anniversary of Tupac’s untimely death. He died in 1996 at 25 after being shot in Las Vegas.

Tupac called Baltimore home for part of his life and attended The Baltimore School for the Arts along side Jada Pinkette Smith. During his lifetime, Tupac released multi-platinum albums and was nominated for Grammy awards including Best Rap Album for 1995’s “Me Against the World” and 1996’s “All Eyez on Me.”
