June 27th is National HIV Testing Day and there are several community events going on that encourage people to get testing, learn more about the disease and simply live a more healthy lifestyle!
FACT: The Baltimore-Towson Metro area is ranked #4 in our nation for estimated AIDS cases. In Baltimore City, 1 in 40 people ages 13 and up, are living with HIV. Over 20% of people who are living with HIV don’t know it.

New Vision House of Hope and Park West Health System Annual Community Health Fair 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Park West Health System (Belvedere location)
The Baltimore City Health Department Bureau of STD/HIV Prevention is hosting a Community Resource/Testing Event on the back parking lot of Penn-North Clinic at 1515 W. North AVenue from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Charles County Health Department FREE rapid HIV testing at the Charles County Department of Social Services, 200 Kent Avenue, La Plata MD from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Baltimore County Health Department HIV testing (NO APPOINTMENT) Liberty Family Resource Center, 3525 Resource Drive from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
City Uprising HIV Outreach Day: Providing FREE HIV testing and comprehensive health services at four locations across Baltimore. Call 410 706-6817 for locations and more info.
Baltimore County Health Department FREE HIV Testing (NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY), 1811 Woodlawn Drive from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Women Accepting Responsibility (WAR) hosting its Annual National HIV Testing Day Health and Wellness Event at the Walbrook Junction Shopping Center, 3400 Clifton Avenue from 12:-00 PM to 6:00 PM.
