The Maryland House State panel will consider a measure that would finally allow illegal immigrants to obtain and renew a Maryland drivers license. The senate passed a bill Monday with a 29-18 vote. The Maryland law currently allows immigrants to carry a second-tier drivers license that will soon expire unless the General Assembly repeals a 2015 deadline to end the practice. Read More.
