Today, I’m alittle sluggish than usual. Maybe it was the Thansgiving break I took last week or maybe it was all the food I consumed over the holidays? Whatever it is, I have to do some work, but I just can’t muster up the energy to get back on track. Are you feeling the same?

 

Maybe these tips will help:

Start your work as soon as you get into the office. While there may be the temptation to dawdle and procrastinate, that won’t get anything done, and won’t get you back in the work mindset any sooner.

 

Conquer your work task by task. While you may feel as if you should jump in and get everything done at once, you may want to try doing your work little by little. This process may help ease you into the work mindset, instead of getting inundated with tasks right away.

 

Avoid visiting any social-networking sites or conversing with coworkers about the holidays during work hours. While this may be difficult, it can be done. Social-networking sites have messages and pictures about the holidays, so instead of working, you may be more interested in catching up on that information.
