I guess folks can’t get enough of Madea, because they certainly weren’t ready for Alex Cross. The film opened this weekend, debuting at $11 million. The film cost $23 million to make and Tyler Perry usually averages $25 million on his opening weekends. His box office hit Madea Goes To Jail debuted at $41 million in 2009. Alex Cross is Tyler Perry’s lowest-grossing movie debut.
