According to reports by TMZ, Penn State Football Coach Joe Paterno was involved in the cover up from authorities of Jerry Sandusky’s sexual crimes against children for over 13 years. The Freeh Group an investigative team hired to cover the case also reported that along with Paterno PSU president Graham Spanier, Vice President Gary Schultz and athletic director Tim Curley on numerous occasions hid major details to protect the school against scandal and bad publicity.
It was also documented that Paterno knew about the accusations against Sandusky since March in 1998 but no action or response was taken.
