Kelly Rowland is featured on the cover of Essence’s ‘2011 Hot Hair’ issue. In the issue she talks about her love for hair, and how she is contemplating going bald.
“One day I’d like to cut off all my hair – really close – shaven to my head. It’s such a really beautiful look. I never want to apply that heat everyday. I did that before, and lost all my edges,” Rowland tells Essence.
Kelly also admitted that she has a thing for wigs.
“I’m in love with wigs. I get them custom-made and I have my hair stylist shape them to my head. I can go from long to short in less than a minute. I tried a blonde wig once and I looked like I should have been wearing a tacky dress with my legs out. I looked crazy. Even a too-light brown colour doesn’t work for me because it becomes the same colour as my face.”
