Question: Only 17% came out to vote yesterday. Why do you think voter turnout was so low in Baltimore?

Marc Fortune- No 1 wasnt really feeling da contestants.

Toiya Tko Best- They don’t have faith in the people that were running!!! The entire city hall needs to be swept clean!!!!!

Tavone Thrizzle Jacobs- Ignorence..alot of ppl i kno didnt even kno it was election day!!! I guess i play a part to cuz i voted and they didnt!!!

Lashelle White- Because nothing is gonna change no matter who we pick.

Donald Smoot -Anit shit going to change.

Marc Fortune -Jus 1 word i have for stephanie is “Stylist” get a new 1

Chereese Barrett- Because no matter who’s put in office isn’t going to do what they originally said they were going to do and pretty much these candidates came out the wood works and was like vote for me. LOL like really.

Karletta Drake- I voted but every1 keep sayin they will do better then the next. But truth be told Stephanie tryin & she did bring the Grand Prix and made money for the city…

Smooda Saraye’ Savagee- I think that some people find the mayors election less important than the presidential election so they dont bother voting , while in other situations citizens dont agree with any of the campiens , im a kid and i cant vote but in discussions like This , my opinion COUNTS !

Tatia Alford Stephanie- didn’t bring the grand prix it was signed way before she got into office.

Smooda Saraye’ Savagee -I say That people find it less important Because the mayors

running fill everyones ears with bull when they come in office and do the exact opposite ! Its a shame and even tho im 14 , i actually care about who represents us and in control of the money towards our school systems and the police that protect us!

Nikia Womack -I am very pleased with whose running for Mayor. Like president Obama says we all need to take a plan of action and work together. Ironically its sad that many are skeptical about voting because they have lost its faith into politics. No matter if its bull or not we should exercise that constitutional right to vote. Keep hope alive everyone.

Tania S. McCray -I know this may seem ignorant, but who can afford to take off work. I admit I did not vote…this was preliminary right, I always vote the second time around (Nov).

Chris Babb Donald- you talking about the race, they said the “U2” concert made over a million in profits for the city. Da hell did that money go?!?!?!?

MeMejuicy Dixon-Johnson- I voted but a lot of people I know said they weren’t because no one was worthy enough to vote for.

“@HrmlssFlirt: @DreJohnson1 I think ppl don’t see the potential for change no matter who they put in office. Ppl don’t care.”

“@nyshsmith: @DreJohnson1 Baltimore was low on voters because so people just don’t care no more”

Tanisha Perry- They Dont Vote Yet They’ll Be The First To Voice They’re Opinion On Something That Was changed…STFU

LadyDee Ellis ‎@ Dre I’m a voter but history has proven that all politicians talk a good game to get they foot in the door, but once they get there our opinion no longer holds any weight.
