Bossip has a story of how R&B singer Monifah is headlining a NYC club night that is all the rage in the city. Instead of just celebrating that an artist gets to still share her gift many years after her fame, they choose to focus the piece more on who her very special guest is every night. Story:
A Bossip spy tells us they recently saw washed up singer Monifah on the scene at a New York bar called Groove. Apparently, Monifah frequents and performs at the bar every Friday night.
Looks like Monifah still has the pipes to belt out the songs but our spy tells us Monifah gave up the physical pipe for something else, our insider claims Monifah seems to be a lesbian and her lover comes out to support her at the bar also.
Interesting… It’s good to know what she’s doing because we thought she fell off the face of the Earth… Oh wait, she did.
