Q. I dated this guy for a time that was married and him and his wife has been separated for 3yrs. He still pays her bills and is very generous financially to his kids. Although she now has a boyfriend, he still gives up half of his check to her. We are no longer dating but I still do not know what to think of this situation.
A. That is crazy. If he divorced her & the court determined his support it may work out to be cheaper for him. Some men are fearful of the court process but this brother would do so much better to go to court with an attorney. My guess is that he uses his financial contributions as a possible way of staying in his family’s lives. Although she has a new man, he can still have a say because he is still so attached to the household. Going through the court may provide distance that he is not ready for. Whatever the reason may be — this is crazy when things could be easily cleared up.
Q. HOW DO U KNOW WHEN A WOMAN IS REALLY FEELING U OR IF THEY JUST WANT TO BE FRIENDS?
A. If she is physical with you always has her hands on you, she wants more than a friendship. If she constantly asks about who you are seeing or is critical of the person in your life, she is interested. If she avoids physical contact, one-on-one dates or ever calls you her “buddy” or says “ya’ll are cool” — u r just a friend.
Q.What do u do when u are n a open relationship n u know the other person talk to ppl on the phone and it bothers u?
A. If u r in an open relationship, really there are no questions about what the other person is doing –if you guys established rules in the beginning. Even open relationships have to have guidelines in order to work: no overnights, meeting the others, sex only in the home etc. If you have no rules, there is ample room for confusion and jealousy.
