Baltimore city internal affairs and homicide departments are working extensively on the shooting death of an former Marine at the hands of an off-duty 15-year veteran of the Baltimore City Police Department. The police are currently focusing on statements from seven witnesses of the shooting behind the Mount Vernon nightclub.
