Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Shares Excitement Over His New Baby

Jamie Foxx is preparing to become a father again, and his daughter Corinne Foxx says she couldn’t be more excited about the newest addition to their family.

Corinne opened up about her father expecting another child during an interview with Extra TV while the pair promoted Season 8 of their FOX game show, Beat Shazam.

“Yes, I’m gonna be a sibling times three now. Times three,” the 32-year-old said. “I’m very excited for him. He’s the best dad in the world, and so he is going to thrive and excel. It’s gonna be amazing.”

Jamie, 58, is expecting his third child and his first with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. The Oscar-winning actor is already father to Corinne and 17-year-old Anelise, whom he welcomed from previous relationships.

Jamie may have also accidentally revealed the sex of the baby during the interview. When asked whether his newest child could eventually follow him onto the tennis court, he appeared to refer to the baby as a boy.

“Man, he’s gonna play some tennis for sure,” Jamie said before joking about recently tweaking his hamstring while playing.

The entertainer has previously admitted he was “a little on the fence” about becoming a father again at 58.

Starting Something New

The new chapter comes three years after the Foxx family faced a serious health scare. Jamie suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke in April 2023, later revealing that he was unconscious for 20 days.

Jamie has credited his family, particularly Corinne and Anelise, with helping him through his recovery. While reflecting on the experience at the 2025 Golden Globes, he said his daughters “held me down in a way that is hard to interpret in these settings.”

Jamie and Corinne have also shared the screen for years. Jamie has hosted Beat Shazam since its 2017 debut, with Corinne joining the series as its DJ and co-host beginning in Season 2.

Now, the Foxx family is getting ready to welcome its newest member.
