Rihanna’s Father Reportedly Passes Away at 70
Ronald Fenty, the father of global music icon Rihanna, has passed away at the age of 70 following a brief illness.
Family members, including Rihanna’s brother, Rajad Fenty, were seen at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles prior to Ronald’s passing. While Rihanna has not publicly commented on her father’s death, sources indicate she was present during his final days.
Rihanna’s relationship with her father was marked with periods of estrangement, notably in 2019 when Rihanna filed a lawsuit against Ronald for misusing her name and likeness in business ventures. The lawsuit was dropped in 2021 after an alleged reconciliation. Despite past challenges, Rihanna remained supportive of her father, including assisting him during his battle with COVID-19.
Amid this loss, Rihanna is also celebrating the growth of her family. She is currently expecting her third child with partner A$AP Rocky, which they announced earlier this year.
