However, Apple just quietly introduced a way for business owners to process payments through their phones without having to use third-party processing apps like Stripe, Paypal and more. There is no direct date as to when the feature will be officially rolled out however, according to, Axios.com, The upcoming “Tap to Pay” feature — could make it easier for merchants to conduct their business and accept contact-less payments without any extra equipment. Most of the payment processing companies sustain by selling the add on features needed to accompany their overall software; i.e. processors such as Square and Shopify are examples.
