I used to joke about Blue Ivy growing up so fast. It feels like just yesterday when King Bey (Beyonce’, “Beezuz”, etc.) was rubbing her stomach after performing “Love On Top” at the 2011 VMAs. It was a time when we were watching the throne and certainly weren’t masked up, or anything pandemic-ish. It was a historical moment in music history where one of the most famous stars of our lifetimes truly made us feel like family by announcing her first pregnancy on stage at one of the biggest events for the culture. It was pretty dope.
Well, that famous ‘baby bump’ just celebrated her 10th birthday and it’s a page right from the time is moving fast book. Blue’s grandma, Tina Lawson took to Instagram to celebrate her first decade. She shared a photo that truly reveals just how fast Blue is stretching out, standing just a few inches shorter than her grandma, who’s 5’7 by the way.

“My beautiful Talented and super smart Grandaughter Blue Ivy turned 10 today! God it seemed like yesterday you came into the world running things. Blue is my little Capricorn Twin . I prayed for her to be born on my birthday but she did what she always does she came when she got good and ready 😂three days later but we still share the bond. She reminds me that “Grandma you are acting just like a Capricorn.” Blue gives the best advice like a grown person I sometimes forget that she is so young!!!😂!😂” Blue is one of those rare gifted people that can do everything well!
