Raven Paris: I’m big into manifestation. I feel like it’s very important to plan out the life that we desire to have. So like, what are your top four goals for 2021?

3Oh: In 2021? I just want to have a show; like a real show, not no club. I’m trying to get back on a big stage. In 2020, right before COVID I performed at Rolling Loud, with 20,000 people being in the house. So I want to have a real show, and more money. Also, in 2021 I probably get signed to a major label at the end of the year. They keep talking about it, I’m just weighing out my options and I’m trying to get my mother a house.

Raven Paris: Speaking on possibly being signed at the end of this year, right? Do you feel as though, in order for you to really make it, you have to be signed?

3Oh: Not really because I went crazy-crazy before I even signed my distribution deal.  I was going too stupid, all by myself. I made like 50,000 on like, two to three songs by myself, with no distribution. I mean, it got its pros and its cons to me tho, personally. I still do what I want to do, but now I have a manager that knows what he’s doing. So I let him make decisions for me; before him, I ain’t let nobody control nothing. I dropped music when I wanted, and what I wanted.

Raven Paris: So what has been like one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned while being in this industry that you could pass down to an upcoming artist in the DMV?

3oh: Nine times out of 10, these industry folks, they not really your friends. It’s a business at the end of the day. As soon as they think you about to blow up, they wanna be around you. Think of it like this, when you get fired from your nine to five, you don’t talk to your coworkers anymore do you? No, because it’s a business.

Raven Paris: You’ve been making a lot of virtual appearances at schools in DC lately, Describe what those experiences mean to you and why is it important that you tap back into the students?

3Oh: When I was coming up, we ain’t really have no celebrities or influencers to look up to. I had street dudes that I looked up to; that’s kind of why I somewhat took the path I took. Now that I know, the kids look up to me I want to teach them the right stuff to do. They listen to artists music and want to do what they see us do; so when I talk to them I try to tell them, not to do what they hear me saying; that’s what I’ve been through not them.

Raven Paris: I know you got the number three tatted on your neck, in remembrance of 11 year old Davon who was from Southeast, DC who passed away last summer due to gun violence. What was so significant about that death that made you want to get that tatted on you?

3Oh: That could have been me. I remember one time when I was little, this was probably my first time hearing gunshots while I’m outside; I ran and slid under a truck. My cousin grabbed me, pulled me from under the truck, ran with me then pulled me in a building and told me to stay with him. He told me to never slide under a truck when I hear gunshots because they can easily shoot at the tires and ima be done. So I don’t know, hearing about his death made me think like, that could have been me.. he wasn’t doing nothing wrong. Back then, I was having fun as a little kid. I feel like now, little kids can’t even go outside. They keep killing little kids out here. You don’t know what he could have been when he grew up. He also used to DM me and send me his music and stuff like that.

Raven Paris: Yeah, that’s sad. I can tell his death really affected you. Now, lets switch the tempo a bit. You’ve gone viral a few times by just being funny; what has been one of the funniest moments you’ve had so far in your career?

3Oh: The funniest moment? I don’t know.. It’s funny stuff that happens every day. I remember, one day when I was living in LA, my neighbor had a wife.. I honestly don’t know who she was, but she just randomly started knocking on my door. During that time, I had a hit song, so people was going crazy. She was outside my door like, can I just come in? but I ain’t mess with the white girls so I was like nah. It’s on the internet, I recorded the whole thing *laughs*. I was talking to her through the door the whole time, for like 10 minutes. She kept telling me how she liked me and she just wanted to come in the house with me.  She was like, I’m not just a drunk…I’m your neighbor! As I’m recording through the peep hole, she just standing there tripping.

Raven Paris: So based on your well received project, Who Want It, what can we expect next from you? We seen photos of you x Izzy in the studio, can we expect some new music between yall? Let me know what’s next?

3Oh: Man, me and Izzy is cooking. When I moved to the A, I didn’t really move around with nobody out there. I didn’t really know too many people but Izzy, so we’ve been locked in. I’ve been cooking with Izzy, Doughboy and a few others I can’t tell you about yet. My next song that I probably drop, It’s going to be an artist that the whole world loves. Ain’t going be no local stuff, that’s going to be a global audit. I don’t even know when I’m going to drop it though, I’m still shooting videos from my last album.
