Earlier this week, we got the news of the Tennessee Titans’ coronavirus outbreak and this week the New England Patriots is making headlines for positive test. One of the top players for the Patriots and well known baller Cam Netwon has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. The Patriots released a statement announcing the news that quickly started circulating on social media saying,
“Late last night, we received notice that a Patriots player tested positive for COVID-19. The player immediately entered self-quarantine.” “Several additional players, coaches and staff who have been in close contact with the player received point of care tests this morning and all were negative for COVID-19.”
The Patriots were set to take on the Chiefs Sunday so it looks like plans may be adjusted as Cam is already out the whole team may be forced to reschedule as well.
