This past Thursday, Thursday Night Football went to higher heights and even higher suspensions, well for one! The Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers have had a rivalry dating back to the late 70’s. However, Mason Rudolph and Myles Garrett put a new spin on rivalry. Garrett of the Cleveland Browns defensive team struck QB Mason Rudolph of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the head with Rudolph’s helmet in a very aggressive scuffle.

According to ESPN, Garrett is suspended indefinitely for the rest of the 2019 regular and post season games. However, Rudolph who initiated the aggression before Garrett struck him in the head; tried to take off Garrett’s helmet in the initial scuffle as well. He then proceed to attack Garrett without a helmet and that’s when Garrett “saw red” and struck Rudolph. Because of the detrimental hit Garrett had to Rudolph, Mason was not deemed to be an aggressor enough to be suspended for any part of the season; but to only be monetarily fined.
