Off-duty Maryland State Police Trooper Zachary Tyler Bowen, 28, is accused of pointing a gun at a car Sunday evening on I-695 near Liberty Road.

According to Baltimore County Police, a man and a woman were traveling on the outer loop when the male victim driving the vehicle changed lanes. Following the lane change, Bowen then drove next to the victims’ car and pointed a handgun.

Bowen is charged with first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and using a firearm in the commission of a crime.
