I think it is safe to say that EVERYONE who watched the 2018 All Star game yesterday or even the clips of Fergie’s performance online is giving her a serious side-eye. Like honestly, what in Carpool Karaoke was she thinking?
Like, what in Carpool Karaoke was she thinking? Those are the notes you hit when you’re in the shower or driving alone in the car belting notes out. As a result, social media hasn’t been the nicest to the former Black Eyed Peas star. Social media and other media outlets reporting her rendition has caused her to turn off the comment section on her IG page. She has since issued an apology for her performance at the NBA All Star game.
Fergie tells the site, “I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”
