Dre’s #breakfastbite.. The Baltimore City School board says yes to cutting $30 million from next years budget by laying off 300 teachers, administrators and other support staff. What are your thoughts?

ms.megz86 Being an employee it’s sad but at the end the kids are going to suffer we barely have proper supplies to educate our kids now with these cuts classrooms will be overly crowded and probably no raises for staff it’s a no win all the way around

jayboogiebaby42 Unfortunately, doing that make the matters go from bad to worst smh.

from_thecitythat_reads Black people, we need to get our children and home school more….

jpslater1983 Sad man

1sickcharger smh ppl not voting and those that are voting are voting wrong gm bro

justlikealotus7.20 It’s a disgrace! Classrooms are already full. Where are these children being placed? The children are barely learning as it is. It’s like they want to see our children fail. Educators are frustrated, over worked, underpaid, unappreciated and now some are losing their jobs. We do not have the proper materials to tech 5 students. So just imagine having to teach about 30-40 in one classroom. Now we will have a lot more students dropping out smh…..

wusouth Something the city should here…get your OWN education. Read…study community ethics and morals…something you can stand for you and your family. Without proper education and lack of understand, we will still be people of the bottom. Hard but true…people stopped investing in education years ago, leaving most staff to defend for their selves to serve the children a curriculum…without the education of how Governing Officials got to the position of power, we will be and maintain criminal activity as the new way to live. #allmyteacherswereright.

sugarbearbanana This is ridiculous. Our children need to have an education. How are schools suppose to get education if the keep laying off the educators . Stop cutting the school budget and think about cutting the highway budgets instead .
