****URGENT NOTIFICATION REGARDING LADIES OF CHARM CITY PREMIERE***

Unfortunately due to the overwhelming negative response to the trailer and tremendous amount of calls both from the Baltimore community and internal departments within ABC2, the show has been pulled from premiering this Sunday, March 6th.

It is very sad that so many people complain about Baltimore not having anything good and yet when opportunities like this do come, they shut them down before even giving it a chance.

You may not agree with the lifestyles of these ladies, but this show is about these women lives — real people, with real issues who’ve made their living on The Block. Everyone thinks strippers are just money hungry whores, but I’ve learned that they are mostly abused and broken women who’ve become shrewd hustlers of their over-sized assets because, in some cases, they thought they had no other choice. The Ladies of Charm City will help to show them, and others like them, that they do have choices. It’s really the journey of women who are trying to heal past scars, overcome life barriers, and learn how to follow their true passions.

The show also incorporates music from local artists and includes local celebrities and athletes from Baltimore. It’s a great show and we will not let this deter us.

We are still negotiating to get it on the air and will update you as soon as a new premiere date is locked.

We sincerely apologize especially to the cast members of the show who are getting a lot of flack for the show not airing. It is not their fault. These circumstances are beyond our control. And this in no way diminishes the great job they all did in participating on the show. All we can do now is continue to move forward.

Haters are always gonna hate.

To those that supported us from the beginning, we truly appreciate you and will work our hardest to make sure your efforts are not in vain.

Sincerely,

The Producers of Ladies of Charm City
