Taraji P. Henson is definitely Hollywood’s “It Girl”. The Golden Globe winner is already promoting her next film, Hidden Figures, where she’ll be portraying NASA mathematician and scientist, Katherine Johnson.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the host and the actress played an improv game where they had to take calls while pretending to be in the midst of odd scenarios.
In the scene, Cookie is playing an astronaut who thought she was on her way home but then finds out her assignment has been extended by six months.
“That’s gotta be wrong. Check the stats,” she says, “I got a nail appointment, honey. I haven’t been waxed. I’m looking like a woolly mammoth up here.”
It wouldn’t be an Empire moment if Cookie didn’t mention her baby daddy. “LUCIOUS! LUCIOUS!” she screamed into the phone. “This is all Lucious’ fault,” she added.
