Passengers of the luxury cruise line, Carnival Liberty, had to cut their vacations short when an engine fire forced the ship to dock only three days into its seven day voyage. Sounds like the vacation from hell right? Officials from carnival said:
“All hotel services on the ship including air conditioning, elevators, toilets and galleys were fully functional and the ship’s normal array of activities including entertainment and dining proceeded as normal on Tuesday, but due to damage from the engine fire, the vessel failed to receive clearance to sail”
Today, the ship has began flying over 3,000 passengers home. Carnival plans to issue a full refund to passengers for all of the inconvenience, and even give them a 50% discount, should they choose to vacation with them again.
