Dre’s #Breakfastbite.. I’m calling today Freedom Friday! I want to know how you are feeling about the activities going on in our city this week?
Trina Whoelsebutme Selden I am very proud of my city at this point. After the initial mayhem, we were able to ‘pull it together’ and bring about a coalition across this country! Kudos to us!!
John Quinton Gregory The curfew is a bit must!!!!!! But since they want US to listen& obey their rules. Time they LISTEN to the people who been crying out for years.
MrTerrence Teel I understand the precaution taken. However, we are speaking about and referring to responsible hardworking adults. I think it perpetuates a deeper fear and uncertainty in the city and suggesting the law enforcement can not secure and contain unfavorable activity.. I would have never imposed such a ban…#killingbusinesses
Jermaine Townes Don’t agree with destroying things, but I understand. …
Patricia Ray Lets just hope and pray that change happens for our city. Long time coming lets hope they are listening and take action…
Caprice Newman Lets just hope and pray the line of communication can start from today…..all leaders, voice.peaceful protesters should have an open forum at least one a month from now on..
Butter Pecan GM DRE I AM SAD FOR THE STORE OWNERS THEY DIDNT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WHATS GOING ON..BUT I DO AGREE ABOUT THE PROSPECTS AND GETTING ANSWERS AND WHY ARE THESE RACIST COPS KEEP GETTING A STAY OUT OF JAIL PASS..
James Davis This is an uprising however you do it just make sure your point is made! No more oppression brutality genocide
Charles Smith I feel kind of “bitter/sweet about whats going on in our city. I feel that finally the youth in Baltimore are being heard and taken seriously by any means necessary. I think that this generation needs a voice and a leader that’s going to defend their constitutional rights. On the dark side of things-if looting continues we the citizens are gonna suffer terribly…but I get it.
og_mac73 First, good morning Dre. I have to admit that I’m heart-broken, and disturbed at all of the events from this week. I never thought in my 42 years living in Baltimore City that I would ever see this.
myzbebe @drejohnson1 take one from my page Lls Gm boo
cold_humble We need to come together not just to protest we need to come together for our youth …lives matter they matter we just have to show them as a village .The question is when will we show them .
blizz40 Uneasy and disturbed. This was not MLK’S dream!
eman3275 Why nobody is mentioning what happened before he got into the van and how he got hurt
augustbabee I really be glad when it’s over. It’s so disheartening to see our city in turmoil. I understand the protest but not the riots and violence. The rioting has nothing to do with the police brutality
