Reginald F. Lewis is an American businessman and was the richest African-American man in the 1980’s. Born in Baltimore, this Harvard Law School grad went on to be listed in Forbes among the 400 richest Americans, with an estimated net worth of $400 million. He is also the first Black man to start a billion dollar company, Beatrice Foods. His legacy of philanthropy lives on through the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Baltimore.
